Signature Painters was contracted by FKG Group to complete the paintwork and rendering for the Nirimba State Primary School, a brand new school on the Sunshine Coast. The school’s facilities include an administration block, resource centre, covered area and kiosk, prep and junior learning areas, assembly spaces and sports areas.

The Signature team painted the school’s interior and exterior buildings and structures using a palette of modern greys with pops of blue, green and earthy tones. Our work also included extensive rendering of architectural features such as tilt panels, parapets, alcoves and fins.

A high level of skill was required to paint and render a wide variety of internal and external surfaces, many at height and cut in against other surfaces or colours. Thorough preparation and use of the best premium products for each area were critical to achieving a high-quality result. We also worked to schedule so the school was ready to welcome students for the start of the school year.

In a media statement announcing the school’s opening, Member for Caloundra, Jason Hunt MP, said the new Nirimba State Primary School was “looking fantastic.” Nirimba State Primary School’s Foundation Principal Steven Moore said students and staff at the new school “were delighted with the classrooms, grounds and facilities.”
