The Master Painters Association (MPA) represents the surface coating industry in Australia. It seeks to advance, encourage and recognise the highest standards of trade craftsmanship and ethical business practice. The Master Painters ‘Awards for Excellence’ were established to acknowledge these high-quality work and business standards in our industry.
Signature Painters has been a finalist or winner in these prestigious awards over multiple years. We’re honoured to be acknowledged for our excellent workmanship and are proud of our talented and committed team – without them we could not have won these awards.

FKG Group contracted Signature Painters to complete all paintwork and rendering for nine new buildings at Gainsborough State School, Pimpama North. These included large, two-storey classroom buildings, architecturally-designed admin facilities, a library and a gym. A high-level of technical skill was needed to achieve a crisp, clean, hard-wearing finish using many different contrasting feature colours and products on various substrates.
“I could not fault the workmanship. There were multiple feature walls cut in exceptionally against the lighter colours. The paint finish was consistently even throughout and the bright coloured doors were solid coverage. In the large community and staff areas, the ceilings had been sprayed to a perfect finish.”
Jim Baker, MPA Awards Judge
Lumina Apartments is a new, award-winning, 5-star development comprising 22 luxury residences in Noosa.
Signature Painters completed all interior walls and ceilings to an exceptional Class 5 finish applying specialist Level 5 paints and techniques, including fine sanding and multiple topcoats. Using a range of Dulux paints and products, we achieved a beautiful high-end finish free of imperfections throughout.
Our exterior work comprised painting various substrates, soffits and downpipes. Our crew used specialist paints such as Dulux AcraTex for render, expertly cutting in contrasting colours to achieve a clean, modern and hard-wearing finish.
Mabel Park State High School’s brand new, state-of-the-art training facilities are spread across three levels. The facilities include STEM classrooms for vocational training as well as a cultural centre, prayer room, collaboration space, amenities and canteen.
For the interior of this ultra-modern, architecturally-designed space, Signature Painters precisely painted curved and partition walls, ceilings, skirtings, doors and frames to a crisp, high-quality finish. Our exterior work included soffits, cladding, concrete columns, blockwork, and stairs. For the exterior, we used APP Surfaceshield HD for external concrete columns and applied an anti-graffiti coating to the blockwork for a highly durable long-lasting finish.
Alpha is a high-end, architecturally designed development in Maroochydore built by Hutchinson Builders. It comprises 14 luxury, penthouse-style residences, along with substantial office space.
Signature Painters completed the internal painting for all 14 apartments and the common areas. Using a range of premium products with meticulous paintwork throughout, our team achieved a high-end finish that matched the quality of the rest of the building. We also applied finishing touches to the exterior concrete tilt panel walls, concrete soffits and downpipes, giving the building an elegant and prestigious exterior finish.
WHF Group contracted Signature Painters to complete all exterior and interior painting for the new Supa IGA Mt Cotton, along with painting the exterior of seven adjacent tenants in the Mt Cotton Centre.
After thorough preparation, our team executed a multiple-colour scheme with precision, painting the external tilt panels walls a striking combination of black, grey, red and white to complement the Supa IGA branding.
Inside, all interior surfaces were carefully prepared and painted. The whole ceiling was spray-finished with black paint, ensuring there was no sheen inconsistency. Epoxy floors were also added throughout the IGA shopping centre and the public toilets.
The Logan Super Centre comprises 29 homeware and specialty stores, along with two cafes. SJ Higgins contracted Signature Painters to complete the paintwork as part of the centre’s refurbishment. Previously just all white, the paintwork was looking dated and needed additional decorative features to give it a more contemporary look.
Signature Painters worked with the architects to recommend suitable products to achieve the desired aesthetics, such as Porter’s Industrial Lustre which was used to create a rich shimmer on the columns. Our experienced team navigated the escalators and high ceilings using lifts and booms to execute the finished project to an exceptionally high standard.
The Cleveland Aquatic Centre was looking run down and in poor condition. As part of a broader refurbishment of the centre, Signature Painters was contracted to repair and repaint the 25-metre lap pool.
Our team stripped, sanded and repaired the fibreglass of the pool, completely replacing a couple of severely damaged areas. After pressure-washing and cleaning the pool with acetone to ensure a smooth finish, we applied three coats of tinted pool epoxy resin. Epoxy was also carefully reapplied to mark the swim lines, and we used a chemical-resistant joint sealer to ensure the pool edges were completely watertight.
