What Is Involved With Roof Restoration & Painting?
The key to a quality roof restoration is extensive and meticulous preparation, before the application of a high quality roof membrane.
1. Inspection & Repairs
We will carefully inspect your entire roof for any damaged tiles, loose or missing bedding, moss, debris and lichen, as well as make repairs.
2. Cleaning
We will thoroughly clean your roof and prepare it for restoration. Any fungi and algae will also be treated.
3. Rebedding & Repointing
The ridge capping will be rebedded into the cement where required and repointed with a flexible mix to provide a strong hold and seal, while allowing for any movement without cracking.
4. Priming & Sealing
We will seal the entire roof area to ensure strong adhesion with the Dulux AcraTex Roof Membrane. A primer will help to prevent corrosion and keep the paint in good condition for longer.
5. Roof Membrane Application
Two coats of Dulux AcraTex Roof Membrane will then be applied over the entire surface to provide a beautiful textured finish and long lasting protection.
